Petting zoo at the Seattle Tilth family days

Seattle Tilth invited our bunnies and ducks for a children's petting zoo on Saturday.  We had over 30 kids, many have never pet a rabbit (or duck) before.  Urban livestock is an important part of creating a sustainable cycle.

Spring is a time to appreciate new birth all around us

Rabbits, kids, chicks, ducklings are all around us.  Appreciating God’s handiwork in the balance of lifecycles is another way we can teach our kids how the animals we are stewards of are essential to finding a sustainable lifestyle we strive to live.
